How Drunk Am I?

How this calculator works
We use a modified version of the Widmark formula (the actual science behind blood alcohol estimation) and then translate the result into a far more useful scale than boring decimal numbers. Because nobody at the pub says "I'm at 0.08" — they say "I'm absolutely cooked."

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this medically accurate?
No. This is a fun calculator for entertainment purposes only. Actual blood alcohol levels depend on dozens of factors we can't measure. Never use this to make decisions about driving or safety.
What counts as a standard drink?
In Australia, one standard drink contains 10g of alcohol. That's roughly one 285ml beer, one 100ml glass of wine, or one 30ml shot of spirits. Most pub pours are bigger than one standard drink.
Why does weight matter?
Alcohol distributes through body water. More body mass means more dilution, so larger people generally process the same amount of alcohol with a lower BAC. Biology is unfair like that.
